It is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the world that delivers medical supplies & equipment to developing countries. Its main purpose is to collect & sort donated medical supplies & equipment from manufacturers, hospitals, and surpluses & then distribute the supplies & equipment to developing countries based on a needs assessment of the local hospitals and clinics in those countries.
